Who Are CQC and What Do They Do

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

Their aim is to make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

They monitor, inspect and regulate services and publish what they find. Where they find poor care, they have the power to take action.

Their website has a search facility so you can look up the last inspection report for regulated care providers.
